Was expecting better quality, its really thin material, wont protect from a drop at any height, also fit it not as “snug” as it should be, kinda slides around and is constantly popping off at the hinges. It has two little “tabs” that connect the upper and lower halves, these will surely break/bad design. If you were wondering if this product would prevent the DSi XL from closing all the way, the answer is YES, it wont close all the way with this on so the lid is a little floppy.

I was expecting better, thicker around the edges, type of material, this is really thin like creditcard thickness, all over.

I suppose it provides SOME kind of protection, from fingerprints/light scratches maybe, but thats about all, so I can only give it a 2 star.

Would love it, if it fit. Falls right off when the game is open, and is still loose when it’s closed. And it’s not ‘clear’ it’s white

I’ve got similar silicone sleeves by this manufacturer for my DS Lite and 3DS. Those are great. This one just doesn’t cut it. It’s absolutely fine for games such as Scribblenauts, Animal Crossing or Pokemon — games that don’t require lightning-quick moves. But for Mario Kart, it’s a disaster. The shoulder buttons are covered by the sleeve, so they’re just not responsive. Half the times I press them, nothing happens. Try moving the D-pad rapidly and your fingers get caught in the sleeve. So I have to take it off for Mario Kart. I guess I can try manicuring it with a knife, but isn’t it the manufacturer’s job to make it work out of the box?
